Quail with rice Meat of quail was served as a delicacy for Pharaohs, but it doesn’t mean that Moldova has no tradition of cooking this dish. In old cookbooks preserved ancient recipes of quails with cherries, rusks or roasted on the grill.
In the performance of La Plăcinte this dish became also helpful. In La Plăcinte the fine quail’s meat roasted is served with basmati rice containing dietary fiber, iron, phosphorus and a lot of useful vitamins.
